Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
Medical Oncology
Duke University Medical Center's Divisions of Hematology and Medical Oncology offer a flexible 3 year training program in both hematology and oncology leading to eligibility for board certification in either subspecialty or both. The training of all Fellows combines clinical responsibility with research experience. The Program has an average of twenty fellows in different stages of training and provides clinical and laboratory training in hematology, medical oncology, bone marrow transplantation and blood banking.
Approximately seven fellowships are available each year to physicians who have completed three years of training in Internal Medicine and who are eligible for licensure in North Carolina. Duke offers stipends and benefits competitive with similar institutions.
